Most pole certifying organizations stop with the certification. We understand that this is risky as it is possible for a person to obtain a pole certification, do nothing with it for 10 years, then begin teaching after forgetting everything they learned during the certification.
When a person receives their certification, and typically for the year following the certification, the material is fresh in the instructors' mind and body and they are able to lead safe, fun and effective classes. If they are teaching consistently, the material will continue to stay fresh in their minds and bodies.
Our Approved Instructors take it to the next level to ensure they are taking their role as an instructor seriously. This helps keep YOU safe and helps you progress as easily as possible. In addition to passing the pole instructor certification requirements, our Approved Instructors are required to:
Submit verified teaching hours and/or continuing education credits each year to demonstrate their commitment to keeping their skills and knowledge current,
Hold a current CPR/AED Certification
Agree to abide by thePFA Oath, and
Maintain membership in the PFA which gives them access to Instructor Tools and Materials as well as current, updated instructor information.
